What you’ll bring to this role: 

  • Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school (superior academic credentials preferred)
  • Active State Bar Membership in good standing (Texas license preferred)
  • 12 years related litigation experience with a top tier law firm or in-house at an equipment leasing or manufacturing company
  • Significant experience with all aspects of litigation, including arguing motions, conducting depositions, large case discovery and document productions, brief writing, pre-trial activities, and trials
  • Significant experience counseling senior business clients on a wide variety of litigation and legal risk issues
  • Excellent analytical, strategic, legal research, writing and advocacy skills, including a strong ability to analyze legal issues through presenting statement of facts, law, and policy
  • Strong eDiscovery experience
  • Must have excellent writing, research, and analytical skills
  • Must be comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment and wearing multiple hats; have a flexible attitude; and be quick to react
  • Must be able to communicate at a professional level with all levels of the company
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure in demanding, fast-paced environment and maintain a sense of urgency
  • Manage and track multiple project workflows and inbound requests for legal services
