Business Analyst, Manufacturing Technology
Trinity Industries is searching for a talented team player to fill the open position of Business Analyst, Manufacturing Technology in our Dallas, Texas office.

What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders from operations, engineering, IT, supply chain, and quality assurance to understand business processes and elicit, define, and analyze business requirements
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and data analysis to understand current processes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement
- Analyze and map end-to-end manufacturing processes, identify gaps, inefficiencies, and potential areas for automation or digital transformation
- Translate complex business needs into clear functional and technical specifications to provide technical teams
- Identify opportunities for business process improvement and be a driver for change as needed
What you’ll need:
- BA/BS is in related field required, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years prior experience in industrial engineering, information technology, manufacturing, or job-related field
- Prior experience utilizing manufacturing technologies such as MES, ERP, WMS, SCADA, IIoT or other systems/automation tools
- Must have solid understanding of manufacturing systems, digital transformation trends, and emerging technologies
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actional business insights
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and intake ideas/feedback from across the organization
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and adapt to changing business needs
