- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, data science, economics, marketing or finance/ MBA preferred
- 5+ years’ experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity or venture investing in the transportation sector
- Experience creating financial models for new lines of business; transportation industry and subscription based services preference
- Experience ideating, developing, analyzing and successfully executing new economy business models
- Strategic and business model knowledge of transportation industry with strong preference for rail market focus
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to gain respect of senior leaders
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively while applying sound business judgment and quantitative analytics
- Excellent oral and written skills to communicate complex issues and influence others internally and externally
- Ability to build and maintain a network of relationships to facilitate business model development
- Self-starter who can excel in a fast-paced and fluid environment
- Experience aligning and driving cross-functional groups
