Business & Enterprise Integration Manager
Trinity Industries is seeking a Business & Enterprise Integration Manager located in our Dallas, TX office. This role will be responsible for the overall corporate integration strategy execution, management, and administration of the corporate integration platform (to include Boomi, Mulesoft, ION, Oracle Integration Cloud). As a leader for both the onsite and nearshore team members, you will play the role of mentor providing guidance during development and the day-to-day support activities such as defining, organizing, and tracking tasks to ensure the delivery of the technical solution.
What you’ll do:
- Define and execute the systems integration roadmap
- Ensure the adoption of best practices and standards as part of the development life cycle
- Oversee analysis, design, implementation and support of integration processes such as source code management, deployment, provisioning, testing, issue tracking, and configuration
- Designing and implementing complex enterprise integration solutions with industry standard technologies including Boomi, Mulesoft,ION and Oracle Integration Cloud
- Develop integration solutions leveraging various standards on Micro services, messaging, queuing and orchestration
- Configuring, deploying, and testing of integration solutions
- Coordinates technical release activities with applications development and operations staff to ensure successful release outcomes
- Monitor the proper functioning of the system integration interfaces
- Assist with incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution
- Responsible for managing the integrity of all pre-production environments, such as development, test, QA and staging environments
- Responsible of execute and validate SOX Controls
- Work on project estimates based on functional and technical requirements
- Manage resource allocations based on technical dependencies and project priorities
- Communicate project status to various levels of management
- Serve as coach and mentor to this team
What you’ll need:
- BA/BS degree preferred, and 10+ years of relevant work experience
- Prior leadership/management experience with oversight for an integration development team
- 5+ years of experience with any major integration platform (Dell Boomi, Mulesoft, Oracle Integration Cloud)
- Deep understanding of RESTful architecture principles and their applicability
- Should be proficient in Business Knowledge, Integration & Orchestration, Technical Solution Design, Risk & Quality Management
- Hands-on experience in designing and developing micro-service-based applications using .NET Core, cloud native applications, and moving to commercial cloud (such as Azure)
- Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, methodology development, and data mapping.
- Strong data analysis and database skills (MS SQL Server/Oracle/DB2)
- Prior experience with at least one programming language (and willing to learn new ones) - Java, C#, Python, etc.
- Prior implementation experience with Boomi/MuleSoft iPaaS and API management portal or another framework
- Experience with a fully automated CI/CD pipeline and branching strategies
- Understanding of FTP protocol and EDI standards
- Strong Interpersonal and communications skills that facilitates the interaction at different levels with different IT and business teams
- Organization and delegation skills that allows the efficient management of local and remote resources
- Exhibit strong problem solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently with globally distributed teams and provide technical leadership mentoring to junior members in the team
