Trinity Rail Maintenance Services is hiring an Career Facilities Technician at our Eagle Pass, TX plant. Our products are an integral part of the supply chain that helps fuel our lives and our economy. The Career Facilities Career Technician position is a great opportunity for a resilient, team-minded individual who doesn’t stray away from a challenge.
What you'll do:
- Inspects work areas and malfunctioning equipment. Repairs faulty wiring, mechanical parts, building systems, works overtime and on-call for urgent repair/installation jobs.
- Orders new parts, moves and installs equipment.
- Performed scheduled maintenance activities (i.e., replaces parts, oils, and greases equipment).
- May handle hazardous waste or materials.
- Updates service records. Predictable regular attendance required.
- Safely and efficiently performs all essential functions.
What you'll need:
Maintenance experience with Hand and power tools, blueprints, schematics, lubricants, solvents, paint thinners, etc., Sandpaper and other abrasives. Cutting torch welding equipment. Electrical testing equipment, gauges, and other measurement tools. Overhead cranes, hoists, forklifts, ladders, other mobile equipment.
