Trinity Industries, Inc. is hiring (a/an) Career Material Handler at our Saginaw, TX plant.

What you'll do:
- Utilizes the ERP system (BPCS/LX) to perform inventory transactions and inquires, including the use of mobile bar code devices.
- Optimizes storage locations based on part velocity and volume policies.
- Acts as back-up for multiple areas when required.
- Operates mobile equipment, such as forklifts, man-lifts, pallet jacks, to move material.
- Assures the material counts are accurately reflected in the system and material is stored according to defined policies and procedures.
- Operates material handling equipment (forklift, order pickers, pallet jacks)
- Able to identify part types and methods of storage associated with assigned area.
- Performs put-away and picking functions utilizing BPCS bar code devices.
- Maintains accurate stock counts, locations and products IDs in assigned areas.
- Rearranges material as directed for optimization.
- Initiates and maintains all applicable paperwork as required.
- Follows all safety rules and practices.
- May be involved in safety committees or initiatives.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need:
- Minimum six months forklift operating experience.
- Minimum six months experience working in team environment.
- Minimum six months data entry experience.
- Experience in warehousing activities requiring high level of precision and productivity.
