TrinityRail Maintenance Services, Inc. is searching for a talented team player to fill the open position of Career Production Generalist on 2nd shift at our Shell Rock, IA plant.
As a Production Generalist, you will operate tools or equipment to prepare interior and exterior product surface. Operates automated or hand held tools such as grinders, grit blast or other equipment to remove scale, corrosion, paint or other imperfections on product surface. Follows all safety rules and practices. May be involved in safety committees or initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned.
- Proficient at hand-held grinding equipment
- Ability to perform at multiple work stations
- May require high level of accuracy
- Understands product contaminants and process for removing paint or other lining materials
- Good knowledge of the job, company policies and processes
- Applies job skills to complete semi routine tasks
- Some understanding of the technical aspects of the job
- Ability to follow verbal or simple written instructions and procedures
Required Qualifications:
- 0-1 years of experience
