Requirements for this role:
- Expert knowledge of railcar service equipment types and configurations
- Ability to follow IMO and company procedures to perform maintenance
- Ability to resolve conflicting technical instructions and procedures
- Able to draft Plant level procedures for undefined task associated with repair, and testing of service equipment
- In depth knowledge of gasket applicability/serviceability specifications
- Maintains technical certificates as required
- Can interpret blueprint drawings and specifications
- Certification in NDE methods (such Bubble Leak, Dye Penetrant and VT) Preferred
- Typically, 1-2 years of related experience
