Trinity TankCar, Inc. is looking for a Career Welder in our Longview, TX location! Our products are an integral part of the supply chain that helps fuel our lives and
What you'll do:
- May lay out and mark weld points on parts of sub assemblies.
- May position pieces to be welded into jigs, holding fixtures, guides and steps using measuring instruments and hand tools.
- May inspect completed work for conformance to specifications.
- Observes all standard safety practices and maintains and complete all required records.
- Follows all safet rules and practices.
- May be involved in safety committees or initiatives.
- Performs other duties as assigned
What you'll need:
- proficiently performs fillet and groove welds.
- Performs flux core vertical weld.
- May be certified to weld to tank.
- Accurately measures within specified tolerances Reads blueprints.
