What you'll need:
- Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing process
- Knowledge of supplier agreement negotiation skills including general purchase agreements, price agreements, logistics agreements, and quality agreements
- Experience with contract terms involved with vendor managed inventory
- Ability to track record of cost reduction and other improvements
- History of supplier development improvement
- Knowledge and experience with MRP
- Experience with procurement in industrial manufacturing
- Good business acumen and ability to cost model
- Some management or leadership experience
- Mexico and global sourcing experience
- Knowledge and experience with PPAP and supplier quality processes
- Data analytic toll (e.g., Excel, SQL, SAS) skills
- Well-rounded supply chain background
- Engineering background
- CPM, CPSM, or CPSD
- Minimum of B.S. preferably in engineering, but business is acceptable
- M.B.A or M.S. in supply chain related field is a plus
