What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years engineering experience required.  Preferably experience within the highway products industry or similar industry.  Minimum of 5 years crash testing experience preferred in ISO 17025 accredited crash test lab (or related lab environment) with direct involvement in the QMS
  • Strong knowledge of one of more of the following: ISO 9001, ISO 17025, EN1317, HA/TD 49
  • Proven ability to work closely with the business community as well as technical resources in a tactful manner
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal and relationship skills
  • Good time management skills (i.e. multitasking with efficiency) with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently
  • In depth knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) including ISO 9001 and ISO 17025
  • Demonstrated ability in identifying, defining and solving business problems
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results and work effectively in a fast paced and changing environment with multiple priorities
  • Ability to apply continuous improvement strategies and look for areas for enhancements (i.e. forward thinking)
  • Must be open to new ideas
  • Ability to refine communication skills based on their audience, uses active listening skills and non-verbal rapport building skills and effectively communicates their message to both large and small groups
  • Must be willing to travel on short notice
