What you'll need:
- B.S. degree in Engineering(Mechanical, Industrial); MBA preferred
- 5+ years’ experience designing railcars or other large fabrications is preferred
- Demonstrate hands-on mechanical ability
- Extensive working knowledge of heavy manufacturing process and tooling
- Outstanding communication skills – both written and verbal
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills required
- Ability to multi-task multiple projects of differing scale
- Ability to work in both office, manufacturing and maintenance facility environments
- Demonstrated ability to execute all phases of product design, prototype development, and product analysis, manufacturing, and maintenance processes while conforming to applicable regulatory standards and practices. Knowledge of AAR interchange rules preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing
- Knowledge of weld process and industry standards
- Experience in Autodesk AutoCAD and Inventor is preferred
- Experience with Risk assessment, planning, time standard, visuals and standard work
