Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related major.  Masters or MBA preferred.  JD a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years previous experience in ethics and/or traditional Human Resource corporate compliance functions with progressively more responsibility and exposure to senior and executive level management
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience managing a team.
  • Prior Human Resources or Employee Relations experience a plus.
  • Familiarity with information governance programs, record collection, and eDiscovery
  • Understanding of attorney-client privilege, investigative and interview skills, and the ability to manage controversy without bias and to all parties
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of parties involved and data privacy
  • Comfortable making judgment calls in relation to the ethics policy
  • Ability to quickly assimilate information relating to complex issues, maintain poise, demonstrate organizational savvy in dealing with sensitive investigations
  • Exceptional ability to lead and work across cross functional teams and across geographies/cultures
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Customer-focused with ability to gain consensus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organizationally savvy and relationship building skills
  • Proven ability to set and successfully manage a budget
  • Detail-oriented, organized, resourceful, and have very strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Stays abreast of compliance law in support of the HR organization
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously while remaining within budget and agreed upon project timelines
  • Previous global experience a plus
  • Practical experience with risk management concepts in the heavy manufacturing industry a plus
