What you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Management, or any equivalent combination of experience and training which results in required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- 2-5 years of experience in environmental, health, and safety roles within manufacturing, industrial, maintenance, repair, rail services, distribution, or related environments
- Experience conducting inspections, audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments preferred
- Experience supporting ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 management systems preferred
- Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and applicable state and local regulations
- Familiarity with environmental compliance, industrial safety, and incident investigation practices
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS information management systems
- Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Certifications in ASP, CSP, OHST, CHMM, ISO 14001 Internal Auditor, ISO 45001 Internal Auditor, or similar certifications are preferred
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% as business needs require
