Ethics and Compliance Specialist
Trinity Industries Corporate HQ is hiring for the open role of Ethics and Compliance Specialist. This role will play a crucial role in supporting the company’s ethics and compliance programs. This position will focus on task management, ensuring meticulous attention to detail, and providing support for various compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to grow within the role and take on additional responsibilities over time.
What you'll do:
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of ethics and compliance programs, policies, and procedures. For example:

- Administer and maintain the Company’s Ethics and Compliance training program
- Administer and maintain the Company’s Code of Conduct, including annual training and disclosures
- Administer and maintain the Company’s Conflict of Interest program
- Administer and maintain the Company’s Ethics and Compliance training program

- Manage and track compliance-related tasks and projects to ensure timely completion
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential compliance issues and areas for improvement
- Provide support in the investigation and resolution of reported ethical violations and compliance concerns
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to ethics and compliance activities
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of training programs to educate employees on ethical standards, policies, and procedures
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of ethics and compliance initiatives, providing recommendations for enhancements
- Stay current with relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure the company’s compliance efforts are up-to-date
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to support a culture of integrity and ethical behavior
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Ethics, or a related field required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in ethics and compliance, preferably in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Strong organizational and task management skills with a keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High ethical standards and a commitment to promoting a culture of integrity
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and compliance management software
