- Considerable knowledge of plant operations, with particular emphasis on techniques and equipment for area involved.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or work objectives.
- Ability to effectively plan work procedures, equipment, material and manpower needs.
- Ability to effectively build and lead a productive work group; and to perform as a member of a management team.
- Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing.
- Completion of a standard high school education supplemented by course work in drafting, industrial technology or related areas and extensive experience in plant operation; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which results in the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
