- Bachelor Degree – (Business, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain highly preferred) or 7-10 years’ experience
- Demonstrated experience leading, reviewing and negotiating IT contracts
- Effective negotiation skills on price, delivery, and commercial terms and conditions
- Demonstrated experience working with IT procurement, contract management, software and hardware vendor management, and IT contract negotiation
- Demonstrated experience and comfort working with contract life cycle solutions and other technology that drive process improvement
- Experience collaborating with internal and external resources and creating strategies to meet department goals, budgets and established timelines
Strategic thinker with strong technical and business acumen - Self-starter requiring minimal daily supervision
- Willingness to handle both routine and complex responsibilities including administrative tasks
- Knowledge of IT specific contract language; other contract knowledge a plus
- Effective communicator, both written and verbal with the ability to surface concerns when needed
- MS Office skills including intermediate to advanced Excel
- Preferred, though not required: CPM, CPSM, or A.P.P. through the Institute of Supply Management or CTPS through the Association of Caucus Technology Acquisition Professionals
