Trinity Industries IT is seeking a motivated Summer Intern to join our team and assist in building coding standards, process documentation, and procedure standards. The intern will collaborate closely with the team to develop and verify documents, leveraging their technical knowledge and coding skills.
What you'll do:
- Assist in creating coding standards and process documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to establish procedure standards.
- Verify documents using technical knowledge and coding expertise.
- Contribute to the improvement of coding practices and documentation quality.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field
- Technical Skills: Minimum one year of coding experience in C#, Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Conceptual Knowledge: Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and experience with Git version control
- Other Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous internship or project experience in a related field
- Familiarity with additional programming languages or tools
- Experience in contributing to open-source projects
