Trinity Industries is searching for an IT DevSecOps Intern at our headquarters in Dallas.
The summer intern will assist in data integration, data migration and press documentation. Additionally they will collaborate closely with the team to develop a data integration module, leveraging their technical knowledge and coding skills.
What you'll do:
- Contribute to the evaluation, research, experimentation efforts with batch and streaming data engineering technologies
- Work closely with data architects and IT counterparts to identify, capture, collect, and format data from external sources and internal systems.
- Assist in creating coding standards and process documentation.
· Code, test, deploy, monitor, document and troubleshoot data engineering processing and associated automation
What you’ll bring:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
- Conceptual Knowledge: Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and experience with Git version control
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous internship or project experience in a related field
- Familiarity with Azure Data Factory
- Experience in contributing to open-source projects
