TrinityRail Maintenance Services, Inc. is hiring a Final Assembly Lead at our Shell Rock, Iowa plant.
Our products are an integral part of the supply chain that helps fuel our lives and our economy. Over the last 85 years, Trinity Industries has grown to over 6,000 employees strong with the common purpose of Delivering Goods, For the Good of All.
What you'll do:
- Lay out reference points, position, align and fit together fabricated parts of metal or fiberglass mold according to blueprint and layout specifications fabrication.
- Utilize mechanical fastening (bolts, nuts, hucks)
- Apply appropriate torque sequence and values (certified)
- Read blueprints
- Operate overhead cranes
- Utilize hand tools to bend or form parts
- Follow all safety rules and practices
- Be involved in safety committees or initiatives, as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Strong interpersonal skills
