Trinity Rail is hiring a Lead NDT Quality Inspector at our Jonesboro plant.

The Lead NDT Quality Inspector position is a great opportunity for a resilient, team-minded individual who does not stray away from a challenge. As a member of the team at Trinity, you will make visual/measured inspection/tests of materials/products to ensure conformance with standards and determine if product meets all requirements. You will complete inspection records and reports and follow appropriate codes and regulations.
What you will do:
- Inspect incoming materials, outgoing materials, or products or assemblies throughout the manufacturing process
- May apply singular or multiple inspection processes using various appropriate NDE methods
- Must maintain, adjust or calibrate inspection equipment
- Complete inspection records and reports
- Maintain familiarity with appropriate codes, regulations, applicable procedures and standards
- Assist in completion of all tasks to meet deadlines
- Maintain and improve quality
- Train lower levels
- Follow all safety rules and practices
- May be involved in safety committees or CI initiatives
- Performs other duties as assigned
What you will need:
- Must have exposure to and knowledge of FRA and AAR regulations
- Must have a strong understanding of Appendix T, D15.1 and AWS requirements
