Trinity Industries is seeking an Organizational Transformation Specialist at our headquarters office in Dallas, TX. Play a central role in helping the organization adopt new ways of working—beginning with foundational AI-enabled practices and expanding into broader workforce modernization and digital transformation efforts.

This role supports the enterprise by coordinating core adoption activities, enabling employees and leaders with practical tools, and reinforcing behaviors that make technology-enabled work feel accessible, safe, and impactful.

You will partner closely with L&D, Organizational Change Management, and the AI Governance Board, ensuring that transformation efforts are grounded in responsible use, clear communication, and practical day-to-day application.

What You’ll Do:

1. Foundation-Building for AI & New Ways of Working

  • Support employees and teams in building confidence with AI-enabled tools through simple, practical workflows and early-stage use cases.
  • Identify areas where basic AI practices (e.g., drafting, summarizing, task automation) can reduce workload and improve efficiency.
  • Reinforce responsible-use guidelines and help teams understand how to apply guardrails in their daily work.
  • Capture and highlight foundational wins to build momentum and psychological safety.

2. Workflow Discovery & Early Pilot Support

  • Facilitate discovery sessions with functional teams to identify manageable workflow improvements.
  • Work with partners to design small-scale pilots that are realistic, measurable, and repeatable.
  • Collect feedback, identify friction points, and support iterative improvement.
  • Help translate learnings into simple playbooks that other teams can follow.

3. Organizational Change & Adoption Support

  • Develop and deliver change and communication activities that help employees understand what’s changing and why it matters.
  • Support leaders and managers with talking points, coaching tips, and practical ways to reinforce adoption.
  • Activate and maintain an early Champions network that encourages peer-to-peer support and sharing of success stories.
  • Monitor readiness indicators and help remove early barriers to adoption.

4. Enablement & Learning Coordination

  • Partner with L&D to integrate AI-related skills into existing learning pathways for ICs, managers, and leaders.
  • Ensure training content is easy to access, role-relevant, and designed for real-world use.
  • Collect insights on where additional learning or reinforcement is needed.

5. Communication, Storytelling & Engagement

  • Develop communication materials that help normalize AI use, celebrate progress, and provide practical guidance.
  • Capture examples of teams successfully incorporating AI and share them across the organization.
  • Ensure messaging aligns with the enterprise Future of Work narrative and the voice of the Director of OE.

6. Coordination With OE Leadership & AI Governance

  • Serve as a bridge between governance guidelines and practical adoption, ensuring teams understand how to follow safe-use expectations.
  • Surface field insights, employee questions, and emerging needs to the Director of OE and Governance Board.
  • Ensure that adoption work reflects ongoing governance decisions and enterprise guardrails.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, HR, Business, or a related field required.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in organizational change, learning, project management, HR programs, or workforce enablement.
  • Comfort with AI-enabled tools and interest in deepening AI literacy on the job.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to translate concepts into simple, accessible steps for employees at all levels.

  • Preferred: Experience supporting technology rollouts or digital adoption initiatives.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with change methodologies (e.g., Prosci ADKAR).
  • Preferred: Previous work with cross-functional stakeholders or learning content development.
  • Preferred: Curiosity about AI-enabled work redesign and continuous improvement.
