Police Security Officer (LD Officer Armed Security)
What you'll need:
- Licensed Oklahoma Peace Officers in good standing
- Commissioned by an agency of the state of Oklahoma or political sub-division authorized to employe peace officers
- Actively employed as a full-time law enforcement officer. Part-time and reserve officers are not eligible
- Police authority and jurisdiction within the city of Hugo
- Authorized by commissioning agency to engage in outside employment while armed and wearing the agency’s uniform
- Satisfy educational requirements necessary for Oklahoma Peace Officer license
- At least one year experience as a uniformed, full-time peace officer
- Ability to prepare and maintain accurate documentation
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to interface effectively with individuals of all levels
- Ability to work shift work required; days, swing, nights, weekends and holidays year-round
- Prior experience and enforcement of procedures and policies preferred
