Trinity Rail Maintenance Services is searching for a talented team player to fill the open position of Quality Control Inspector Supervisor in our Shell Rock, IA manufacturing facility!

What you'll do:
- Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of business QA team
- Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion, coordinates work activities with other supervisors
- Decisions are guided by policies, procedures, and business plan; receives guidance and oversight from manager
- Typically, does not spend more than 20% of time performing the work supervised
- Accountable for managing people, setting direction, and deploying resources; typically, is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions
- Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization where formal authority is not held
- Progression within Career Band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities
- Communicates to all necessary formats conveying quality information to required parties
- Monitors deviations, non-compliance, correction, and preventative action systems
- Participates in meetings and provides training, as required
- Responsible for maintaining compliance with AAR and following up on internal AAR audit findings
What you’ll need:
- Associate’s degree
- 3+ years related experience in Quality or Manufacturing operations; or equivalent combination of education and related experience to have obtained required knowledge base
- 1-2 years’ experience in a supervisory or management capacity is preferred
- Direct experience with a quality function and/or quality related responsibilities
- Must be able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills; ability to work with others efficiently and effectively, both one-on-one, and as part of a team
- Microsoft Office experience, especially experience with databases, pivot tables, formulas, charts and graphs
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
