Trinity Rail is hiring a Quality Foreman, Mobile Repair at our Sunray, TX Site.

The Quality Foreman, Mobile Repair position is a great opportunity for a resilient, team-minded individual who doesn’t stray away from a challenge.

What you’ll do:

·         Manage QA department day-to-day work assignments

·         Works under the direction of a Department Manager or Superintendent

·         Set priorities for the team to accomplish department goals

·         Direct/prepare documentation for Internal and external audits

·         Administer training and maintain training matrix for plant personnel

·         Support production with subcontractors, (Ex. B-1’s, Certifications and Training)

·         Maintain and oversee the preventive maintenance program (Ex. Procedures and Logs)

·         Develop and control local procedures and forms

·         Build project & procedure manuals

·         Participate in corporate and local scheduled meetings (Ex. RCCA, Training, Local Projects)

·         Conduct periodic process audits (walk-throughs) to ensure good practices remain on track

·         Track and document tool calibrations

·         Coordinate and oversee Root Cause & Corrective Actions

·         Conduct quarterly management reviews

·         Use statistical methods for process control and continuous improvement

·         Review SOW and SI’s to ensure work is completed in compliance with FRA, AAR and Customer requirements

·         Review paperwork to ensure proper documentation

·         Performs other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need:

What you’ll need:

·         Considerable knowledge of plant operations.

·         Strong leadership skills and the ability to build and lead a productive work group

·         Adept time management skills and the ability to plan, organize daily activities to ensure that schedules are met

·         3 -5 years’ previous supervisory experience

·         3 -5 years’ experience in a heavy industrial environment

·         Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new programs

·         Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail

·         Working knowledge of FRA, AAR MSRPs and M-1003/1002 requirements

·         Knowledge of industry-specific tests and testing equipment

·         Blueprint reading and knowledge of welding

·         Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record required
