RSI Logistics, a trusted leader in rail-served logistics and a subsidiary of TrinityRail, is seeking an experienced and results driven Regional Manager to lead operations for the South/Eastern Region.
 

As a Regional Manager you'll oversee multiple transloading terminals, ensure safe, efficient, and customer focused operations.. You'll be a key culture-builder and strategic partner, empowering teams to deliver exceptional service while upholding the RSI/Trinity values of safety, honesty, integrity, and efficiency.


What you'll do:


Lead High Performing Terminal Operations: 

  • Direct, optimize, and support daily terminal activities to ensure safe, efficient handling of commodities 
  • Oversee bulk transfer operations, office workflows, maintenance planning, and internal/external communication

 

Build and Develop Strong Teams:

  • Partner with Trinity HR TA to maintain proper staffing levels
  • Maintain consistent communication with Terminal Managers, providing guidance, support and timely issue resolution
  • Set clear expectations and ensure strong verbal and written communication across the region

     

Champion Safety and Compliance: 

  • Enforce rigorous safety standards and regulatory requirements across all terminals
  • Promote a culture where safety is non-negotiable
  • Drive performance and continuous improvement
  • Establish and track KPI's to measure operational effectiveness
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce waste and elevate service quality
  • Ensure consistent SOP adherence across all markets
     

 

 

What you'll need:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent industry experience
  • Minimum five years’ experience and expertise in railroad terminal operations, transloading, safety regulations, 
  • and applicable industry standards

     

  • At least three years of proven leadership experience required
  • Prior customer-facing experience highly preferred
  • Exceptional communication and customer relationship management skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure, resolve problems, and make sound decisions
  • Live or relocate somewhere within the region is preferred.
