Trinity TankCar, Inc. is looking for a Senior Alternative Coatings in our Longview, TX location! Our products are an integral part of the supply chain that helps fuel our lives and our economy. What you'll do:
- Mix and apply cold set and phenolic materials.
- Apply all layers (prime, intermediate and top) with consistently defect free results.
- Employees at this level require no supervision and give direction to Interior Preppers and other.
- Interior Liners by regularly performing as team leader of a three-member working unit involved.
- In preparing and lining cars.
- Observes all standard safety practices.
- Maintain and complete all required records.
What you’ll need:
- Complete understanding of pre-bake and final bake of forced cure linings, equipment sizing (tip
- size, pump pressure, pump ratio, etc.).
- Ability to mix all lining materials and the effects of temperature and humidity.
- Ability to operate small power tools.
- Knowledge of proper preparation of tank cars for lining.
- Knowledge of and ability to perform emergency rescue operations.
- Must pass level 2 coatings certification test (normally acquired with 3 years’ experience).
