What you will need:
- Associates degree in engineering or related technical field or a high school diploma/GED AND at least 4 years’ experience related to part layout, metrology and calibration using a CMM
- 3 to 5 years’ experience utilizing GD&T skills
- Knowledge of Coordinate Measuring Machines
- Basic knowledge of word and excel
- Proficiency in any 3D modeling software (preferences SolidWorks, AutoDesk, Inventor)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in MS office Suite
- Proficiency in a range of technical processes or procedures (or deep skills in a single area) through job-related training and/or considerable work experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to conduct inspection measurements
- Ability to understand specific needs or requirements to apply skills/knowledge
- Proficient knowledge and use of calipers, micrometers, radius gages, etc.
- ASQ Certified Calibration Technician
