Trinity Industries, Inc. is hiring a Senior Material Handler at our Fort Worth, TX plant.

The Senior Material Handler position is a great opportunity for a resilient, team-minded individual who does not stray away from a challenge.
What you'll do:
• Expedites the movement of parts and material between warehouse and production areas by lifting or otherwise moving raw materials and/or parts.
• Prepares and coordinates schedules for pulling and delivering materials to control the flow of goods and regulate production floor space.
• Safely operates appropriate equipment (forklifts, hoists, cranes, etc.) required to move materials along production floor.
• Responsibilities may include activities related to shipping of materials or finished goods.
• Stages and maintains storage of finished goods for scheduling of shipments.
• Ensures the security and accountability of materials.
• Ensures packaged goods are loaded according to documentation and bills of lading.
• Follows all safety rules and practices.
• May be involved in safety committees or initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need:
• Performs as level 2 Material Handler.
• Monitors parts and material inventory levels.
• Operates most transport systems in production and yard (including action arm, bobcat and excavator).
• Maintains and organizes production floor and storage areas (indoors & outside).
• May requires comprehensive knowledge.
