What you’ll need:
• High School diploma required with 4 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred
• Knowledge of industry-specific tests and test equipment
• Ability to acquire NDT Level II certifications in accordance with TrinityRail’s written practice
• Ability to learn complex procedures, standards, and regulations quickly
• Basic mechanical aptitude to read drawings and ability to use railroad gauges, testing techniques, and test equipment
• Ability to be self-motivated and able to work unsupervised and follow directions
• Outstanding customer service
• Understanding of computers, operating systems, and Microsoft Office software (i.e., Word, Excel)
• Familiar with Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement
• Familiarity with Gauging
• Familiarity with Root Cause and Corrective Action
• Familiar with Internal Audits and techniques
• Experience in quality control/assurance in a manufacturing environment is preferred
