Trinity Industries is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join our team at our headquarters in Dallas, TX.

What you'll do:
- Preparation of year end and quarterly ASC 740 calculations
- Preparation of a large consolidated federal tax return and extensions
- Ensure timely payment of federal, state, and local estimated tax payments
- Research on various tax matters.
- Responding to federal and state tax authorities on issues as they are identified
- Improve tax processes through technology
- Gather of information for state tax returns
- Work with third party on outsourced state tax returns
- Forecasting and planning on a monthly basis
What you'll need:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
- Master’s degree in accounting or similar, preferred
- Big 4 or large regional accounting firm experience preferred
- 5+ years of tax experience with a focus on corporate taxation
- CPA or in process of obtaining
- ASC 740 experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience with Alteryx
- Working knowledge of ERP systems will be an asset
- Knowledge of OneSource OTP and OIT
