What you’ll need:
- Minimum of 2 years of MIG/FCAW weld experience
- Meet USCG weld bend test requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of FCAW (flux-core weld) experience
- Must demonstrate the ability to satisfactorily pass vertical and overhead groove weld test using FCAW-G
- Ability to understand weld size requirements, weld quality acceptance criteria, and weld layout and processes
- Must be able to perform welding work while wearing all required personal protective equipment including, but not limited to, a filtering face piece and /or tight fitting respirator
- May require working above ground (15ft or more)
- Must be able to climb ladders or stairs to reach objects; comfortable with heights.
- May require working in narrow or confined work spaces for extended periods of time
- Tasks may require physical strength and dexterity
- May require extensive kneeling, bending, walking and/or standing for long periods of time
- Previous experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or construction environment is beneficial
