What you 'll need:
- Previous supervisory experience in a heavy equipment environment required
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is required
- Must be able to operate tools and computer equipment required to diagnose and troubleshoot late model heavy duty diesel engines and accessories
- Valid Texas Driver’s License, with good driving record
- High school/GED
- Knowledge of gasoline/diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical and heavy equipment
- Knowledge of welding preferred
- Computer proficient with knowledge of Microsoft office
- Ability to operate equipment efficiently and safely is preferred
- Must have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with others in a professional and tactful manner both in person or via electronic communication
- Ability to work in varied conditions (i.e., heat, cold, rain, ice, snow, etc.), inside and outside
- Understand DOT regulations as it pertains to maintenance and repair
