What You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- 5+ years of Leadership/Railcar experience
- Up to 30% of traveling required
- Strong knowledge of AAR/FRA rules and regulations pertaining to railcar repair/fabrication, maintenance/design, and applicable standards
- Training and/or knowledge in Hazmat, Welding, Railcar Inspection/Repair, NDE Methodologies, and railcar repair safety
- Customer-focused, excellent relationship building skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Ability to prepare and maintain accurate records
- Ability to interface effectively with shop personnel and customers
- Experienced with Microsoft office applications including, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Occasionally Moderate to heavy lifting
- Climbing, ascending, or descending ladders, inside and out of railcar
- Candidates must be willing to travel and work in required locations
- Ability to meet DOT requirements to operate CMVs less than 26k GVWR
- Ability to climb, ascend, or descend ladders to move inside and out of railcars
- Any type of coatings/mechanical experience or railcar knowledge is a preferred
- Demonstrate job related computational knowledge — for example, be able to read a gauge, a decal blueprint, or a ruler
- Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record required
