- Oversee startup and maintain operations of new mobile repair business and on-site operations
- Ensure the delivery of operating plan targets through individual recognition, performance review, people management and reward
- Work directly with senior leadership in order to develop and implement new business strategies that will enhance the operations of the business
- Establish and maintain direct relationship with customer
- Organize and ensure training for new staff
- Be accountable for the performance and results of a team within their area of responsibility
- Provide technical guidance to employees, colleagues and/or customers
- Participate in interviews of recruited candidates
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of Leadership/Railcar experience
- Strong knowledge of AAR/FRA rules and regulations pertaining to railcar repair/fabrication, maintenance/design, and applicable standards
- Training and/or knowledge in Hazmat, Welding, Railcar Inspection/Repair, NDE Methodologies, and railcar repair safety
- Customer-focused, excellent relationship building skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to prepare and maintain accurate records
- Ability to interface effectively with shop personnel and customers
- Experienced with Microsoft office applications including, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
