Supervisor, Site Security Specialist
TrinityRail Maintenance Services, Inc. Security Department is searching for a talented team player to fill the open position of a Supervisor, Site Security Specialist in our Cartersville, Georgia plant! We welcome your ideas and your outstanding work ethic.
The role conducts TRMS segular monitoring of our property, as well as serving as the first point of contact for visitors entering the building or property, which may vary from location to location. This individual also assists with investigating on-site incidents, preventing theft, and calmly mitigating escalated situations. Additionally, this supervisor acts as a liaison between customers, visitors and employees, as well as prepares documentation necessary to support the security administration program.
- Identifies critical assets and vulnerabilities so that appropriate mitigation strategies can be developed and executed
- Advises facility management regarding the protection of assets and other security related issues
- Develops and executes local security protocols
- Ensures compliance with both corporate and local security policies and procedures
- Supervises security officers assigned to the facility
- Performs regular inspections of and routine preventive maintenance upon physical security
- Infrastructure components and makes arrangements for required repairs
- Administers electronic security systems for the facility (video, access control, alarm)
- Prepares reports and conducts preliminary investigations of security related incidents
- Maintains liaison with local law enforcement officials within whose jurisdiction the
- Minimum High School diploma required
- Associates/Bachelors degree preferred in related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a security related position required
- Understanding of supervisory or Management experience in industrial security
- Ability to effectively interact and collaborate with facility management personnel
