What You'll Need:
- High School graduate or equivelent required
- Welding experience
- 3 or more years of engineering, construction, or shop related work
- Familiarity with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Access) preferred
Must Have The Ability To:
- Lift loads or equipment up to 50 pounds from ground to truck bed height (team lifting or forklifts available to move heavier objects)
- Pry, push or pull objects in and around vehicles, before and after tests
- Work under and around cars, trucks and forklifts, etc
- Work outside in all types of weather (hot, cold, damp, wet conditions)
- Good near and far vision capabilities. Corrective lenses or glasses are acceptable
- Good flexibility, mobility, stamina, general effort, finger and hand dexterity capabilities
- Must have the ability to read, interpret and work from technical drawings
- Communicate using verbal and/or written instructions
- Perform basic math calculations (add, subtract, multiply and divide)
- Be able to use and understand basic computer workflow and software including: File management, Microsoft and Adobe software, and ability to learn and use new software as workflow and need arise
- Must be able to work with hand tools (wrenches, sockets, saws, drivers, pliers, etc.), powered shop equipment (drills, saws, welders, etc.)
- Ability to drive utility vehicles and forklifts highly desirable
