Trinity Rail is hiring a 2nd shift Mobile Equipment Operator at our Jonesboro plant.

The 2nd shift Mobile Equipment Operator position is a great opportunity for a resilient, team-minded individual who does not stray away from a challenge. As a member of the materials and distribution family at Trinity, you will perform activities related to processing, receiving, recording, storing, and/or shipping of raw materials/finished goods. Operates mobile equipment (heavy equipment, forklift, cranes, yard vehicle, lift truck) to move materials/products between warehouse/manufacturing facilities. May utilize computer software to identify materials/goods, ensure accuracy of purchase orders and maintain inventory.
What you will do:
May operate a lift truck with over 15,000 pound capacity
Become certified in use of Stationary Overhead Crane and/or mobile crane use
Operate or act as ground crew for track/switch engine
Operate a scissorlift
Follow all safety rules and practices.
May be involved in Safety committees or initiatives.
Performs other duties as assigned.
What you will need:
Experience operating a 6,000 to 10,000 pound forklift system
1-2 years related experience
