Trinity Industries is searching for an Ethics and Compliance Manager to be located at our Dallas, TX HQ.  This role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the company’s ethics and compliance programs. This role will focus on strategic initiatives to foster a culture of integrity and ethical behavior across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ethics, compliance, and project management, with a passion for promoting ethical standards.

What you'll do:

  • Lead, facilitate, and enhance the Company’s Integrity Leadership Program, which is a newly formed initiative to engage, promote, and reward stewards of ethical excellence across Trinity’s facilities
  • Lead strategic projects to enhance the company’s ethical culture and ensure alignment with industry best practices, including third-party risk management efforts and conflict minerals compliance/filings
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential compliance issues and areas for improvement
  • Lead, facilitate, and enhance the Company’s Enterprise Risk Management Program in alignment with COSO standards
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on ethical and compliance-related matters
  • Design and deliver training programs to educate employees on ethical standards, policies, and procedures
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of ethics and compliance initiatives, making recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with the Chief Compliance Officer to prepare Board of Directors and Executive Leadership Team updates on a regular basis
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate ethical considerations into business strategies and decision-making processes
  • Investigate and resolve reported ethical violations and compliance concerns
  • Stay current with relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure the company’s compliance efforts are up-to-date

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Ethics, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in ethics and compliance, preferably in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Proven experience in project management and leading strategic initiatives
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • High ethical standards and a commitment to promoting a culture of integrity
  • Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish) highly preferred
