RSI Logistics, recently acquired by Trinity Industries Inc., is looking for a Lead Rail Site Coordinator. This
position provides operational leadership for process improvement, SOP governance, and cross-site
coordination and will act as a key resource for training and strategic initiatives.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee coordination between multiple sites to maintain network fluidity
- Develop and maintain SOPs and ensure adherence across locations
- Train new hires and mentor coordinators on advanced processes
- Establish and maintain backup coverage plans for critical desks
- Lead strategic initiatives to improve efficiency and service reliability
- Act as liaison for cross-site communication and special projects
- Provide desk coverage during high-volume or critical periods
- Support supervisory responsibilities as needed during out of office need
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in rail coordination operations or logistics coordination
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, transportation, or a related field OR equivalent combination of
education and logistics operations experience - Above average proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office Suite, and Transportation Management
Systems - Deep knowledge of rail industry regulations and safety standards
- Proven ability to train and mentor team members
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
